No dedicated jail-record hours, fee schedule, request email, or online release-record form was located, so call first and ask which office holds the custody record and how it accepts an electronic request.
Use the channel that matches the custody event or document:
- For a released local inmate or an actual release record, the home page provides the complete search path and focused request wording.
- For post-release supervision, use the Huron County parole and probation resource. Common Pleas Adult Probation is at 12 East Main Street, fifth floor, Norwalk, OH 44857, telephone 419-668-8610.
- For a recent county release window, use the released last 24 hours fallback. Huron County does not publish a distinct recent-release feed.
- For a possible date or alert, consult the inmate release date and VINELink release check resources. Ohio VINE is available at 1-800-770-0192.
- For the local facility, call Huron County Jail or use its official jail page and current roster. The facility page is listed in the footer.
- For a sentenced Ohio prisoner, use the ODRC offender search. Central Records accepts mail at P.O. Box 430, Columbus, OH 43216.
- For federal or civil immigration custody, use the Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. Those systems do not replace the Huron County Jail release record.
